Our Approach: We began by researching various pancake recipes and the different techniques and ingredients that go into making the perfect pancake. We also looked at existing cooking magazines and their design styles to get inspiration for our own design.

Design Choices: To make our spread visually engaging, we decided to use bright, bold colors and playful illustrations. We also incorporated mouth-watering photographs of the pancake and its ingredients to entice readers. To make the recipe easy to follow, we used clear typography and step-by-step instructions accompanied by corresponding photographs.

Layout: We designed the spread to have a clean and modern layout, with ample white space to allow the photographs and illustrations to shine. We divided the recipe into sections, with each step having its own corresponding photograph to make it easy to follow. We also added a sidebar with tips and tricks for making the perfect pancake, which added an additional layer of information for readers.

Conclusion: Our design agency approached the task of creating a magazine spread on the perfect pancake with the goal of creating an engaging and informative piece for readers. Through our research and design choices, we were able to create a visually appealing spread that effectively communicated the recipe in an easy-to-follow format. We are confident that our design will make readers hungry for pancakes and inspire them to try making the perfect pancake themselves.
